Argus C3 Camera - POV Ray Rendering

I currently have 3 C3’s, 2 originals, no accessory shoe, with flash mount holes. These were in production between 1939 and 1957, and came with a 50mm lens capable of aperture to f/3.5.

The second is a Matchmatic in production between 1958 and 1966, very similar to be honest, except instead of aperture settings in the usual f/x manner, and standard shutter speeds, they had single digits, which (I believe) should have corresponded to what the light meter (mounted on the accessory shoe) would tell. I however haven’t got the light meter, so am using an old Leningrad IV which serves well, except I have to then convert the relative shutter/aperture settings into the Matchmatic ones.

You can visit Argus’ site (yes they still make cameras) here.

Other ’stuff’ in my Argus C3 kit comprises:
LENSES

  • Argus - Sandmar Telephoto Lens (100mm) in leather case. [Full details here]
  • Argus - Sandmar Wide Angle Lens (35mm) in leather case. [Full details here]
  • Spiratone - Series IV & V mount - Wide Angle Lens attachment C3-W in leatherette case.
  • Spiratone - Series IV & V mount - Telephoto Lens attachment C3-T in leatherette case.

I don’t know too much about the Spiratone lenses to be honest, and am in the process of trying to ascertain their effective change to the over all image, in other words how much they change the focal length too (or multiply/divide by).

There are 2 of them, in a leatherette case with blue velvet interior. Both in near mint condition, and no marks on the glass that I can see at all.

Both have screw thread for attaching to either of the standard C3 lenses, one is a Wideangle model C3-W (No. 330498) the other Telephoto model C3-T (No. 330533). If anyone knows anything of these, please let me know too!
