Poached Salmon

Ingredients
- Salmon Fish Filet
- Milk
- Cornflour
- 2 Bay Leaves
- Dried Dill
- Black Pepper Corns (whole)
- Salt (to taste)
- Peas (or sweetcorn)
Method
- Pour milk in a large frying or poaching pan, add Bay Leaves, Dill and Pepper corns, and bring to the boil. Once boiling place salmon in to poach, and turn down heat to very low. Add pinch of salt. Let the salmon poach for approx 15 minutes. Once done, remove Salmon and set aside. Remove the Bay leaves and pepper corns (if you wish these may be left in). Put peas into milk, and cook pease until tender.
- Add cornflour to 1/2 glass of cold milk and stir until disolved. Add this to the cooked peas in milk to thicken.
- Pour over the Salmon and serve with New Potatoes and Sugar Snap Peas.
