This book details how the duo first meets, and their first contact with their nemesis, The Drifter.

Kate is a quiet woman, not wanting to stand out in a crowd. She leads a quiet uneventful life, until that is the Time Detective enters her life, and Kate is dragged on a non-stop ride, never sure if the next revelation is going to be her last breath. It marks the beginnings of their adventures, wandering through the tangent planes.

Magic Squares

Definition:
A magic square is an arrangement of the numbers from 1 to n^2 (n-squared) in an ‘n x n‘ matrix, with each number occurring exactly once, and such that the sum of the entries of any row, any column, or any main diagonal is the same (known as the ‘Magic Constant’).

The ‘Magic Constant’ (or sum of the entries) can be arrived at by applying the following equation:
