Chapter 10 The witch looked at the trio from her corner table, in the end the young druid got his Ale, not that she could tell for sure since the water had the same brownish colour as the ale but the kid was still standing sort of and he was definitely not vomiting. Jeremy did not look too happy with his company, the witch mused ‘I wonder if I could …’ the witch looked at Jeremy standing up and staggering towards the back. The witch quickly followed him she was there when he emerged form the lavatory the usual frightened look that lavatories in pubs in small towns give to people in need of relief. "Hi there?" Jeremy looked at the young woman, he could see quite a lot of her, the dress she was wearing came with no imagination required tag. Jeremy face was quickly turning various shades of red. "Hallo aggh" Jeremy could not even bring himself to hope "What’s your name" she asked him smiling "Jeremy ehm" "Hi Jeremy I am Letitia" "arghh", Jeremy took a deep breath "nice to meet you Letitia" "nice to meet you too Jeremy" she slid an arm under his " let’s go" "where" Jeremy just managed to ask "do not worry Jeremy" The two figures faded into the wall. "He is taking his time" "I told you we should have made him stick with the water" "Oldfired there were things floating in it" "so?! best water should have some protein in it" "shut up Oldfried, let’s go look for the kid, he probably has collapsed somewhere" It was nearly down by the time they gave up looking for Jeremy and went back to their room. "Oktar you have a message coming in" The pitcher of water on the dresser was shaking, the two man looked down a the trembling water. An old face appeared, "Hallo Oktar" "Hallo Druid" "everything all right? " "yes" "How is Jeremy I cannot see him" "ehm he is in the lavatory" "Oh good Oktar, you know I was a bit worried one of my brothers reported seeing him on a back of a flying broom.." The old Druid went on, " of course this does not apply because he is in the lavatory however in the hypothetic case he was not then I would have to take a very deem view, you see I entrusted you with one of my young disciples and it would not do have him carried away on broomsticks", the old Druid completed the sentence while flexing his fingers, "but of course all is good and will be talking to you again soon" the image faded. Oktar looked at Oldfired "oh bugger". "we have to get him back " Oldfired was picking the dirt form under his fingernail with the edge of the scythe "well we could leave.." "No way I am not having a bunch of murdering druids in white pyjamas coming after me. Let’s go" "All right but where" "Do not know" Copyright © 2005 Daniela Newton
